Pin defect application of vision inspection system

In the traditional production process, pin defects are not detected until the pins are driven into the connector. The problem is that when the pin is defective, the automatic terminal inserting machine is easy to break the plastic connector base. The pin picture is as follows:

The system can automatically detect the defects of the pins before inserting them to ensure that the pins inserted are qualified products，and improve the processing rate and efficiency of terminal insertion machine. When the high-speed optical fiber detects that each pin has reached the measurement position, the industrial computer instructs the light source controller to trigger the LED light source, and triggers the camera to capture the front and side images of the pin. The program analyzes and determines whether the pin is skewed and warped, and instructs the processing station to remove the defective pin.
